Is the 30-Day Review Challenge really free?

Yes. There is no fee to join the challenge and no card details are taken. We design and make your custom review board and you use it for 30 days. The only cost is £7.50 towards postage and packaging when we send your board out — and if you are based in Cornwall, we cover that too.

Do I get my own review board?

You do. It is designed for your business using your logo, your name and your brand colours, and it is linked to your own Google review page. It is not a generic sticker or a shared template — no two boards we make look the same.

How does the review board work?

It sits on your counter, reception desk or till point. A customer either taps their phone against the NFC point or scans the QR code with their camera. Either way they land straight on your Google review page — no app to download, no searching for your business, no typing.

Do NFC and QR codes work on every phone?

Accepted Answer

Most modern smartphones support NFC tap. For any phone that does not, or for a customer who prefers it, the printed QR code does exactly the same job. That is why every board has both.

Are the links tracked?

We can see engagement through your review board — the taps and scans it receives over the 30 days. That tells you how much your board is actually being used. What we cannot do is follow a customer into Google and confirm that a specific tap turned into a specific review. Nobody can. So we track board activity, and separately we look at how your review profile has developed between day one and day thirty.

Can you guarantee I will get more reviews?

No, and we would be careful of anyone who does. What we can do is give more of your happy customers an easy way to leave a review at the moment they are actually pleased with you. How many take it up depends on your business, your customers and how visibly you use the board.

What happens after the 30 days?

We go through what happened — where your reviews were when you started, what your board has been doing, and how your profile looks at the end. Then you decide. There is no automatic charge and nothing starts unless you say so.

Do I have to continue after the challenge?

Accepted Answer

No. You can stop at the end of the 30 days and keep your board. There is no obligation to continue and no contract to get out of.

What do I get for £30 a month?

Accepted Answer

Around £1 a day covers ongoing review management: we monitor your Google reviews, write an individual reply to each positive and neutral review in your own tone of voice, flag negative reviews to you with guidance and suggested wording, keep your profile looking active and consistent, and keep your review board working. It is monthly and you can stop whenever you like.

Will every review get the same reply?

No. Each reply is written around what that customer actually said — the member of staff they mentioned, the meal they had, the job you did. You will never get the same line copied underneath every review.

What happens if I get a negative review?

We help you handle it properly. We work out what the real issue is, what genuinely needs addressing, the right tone to take, and whether it is better dealt with privately. Then we prepare a calm, professional response for you — never defensive, never argumentative.

Do I have control over how negative reviews are answered?

Yes, always. On a serious complaint we do not publish anything on your behalf. You get the guidance and the recommended wording, you or your manager read it and change anything you want, and you decide what gets said.

Do you remove bad reviews?

Accepted Answer

No. We cannot remove a legitimate review and neither can anyone else — that is entirely a matter for Google. What we do is make sure a negative review gets a considered, professional response so that the people reading it see how you deal with problems.

Do customers have to leave five stars?

Absolutely not. We never ask a customer for a particular rating and your board does not screen anyone out. Your customers leave whatever rating and whatever comments they think are fair.

Is this allowed by Google?

Making it easier for a genuine customer to reach your review page is a normal thing for a business to do — it is the same link Google gives you in your Business Profile. What is not acceptable is buying reviews, writing them yourself, offering rewards for positive ratings or filtering out unhappy customers, and we do none of those things. Google sets and enforces its own policies, so we cannot make guarantees on its behalf.

Do I need to be technical?

Not in the slightest. There is nothing to install and no software to learn. We set the board up and test it before it reaches you. Your job is to put it somewhere your customers will see it.

How long does the board take to arrive?

Once you apply we will confirm your design details with you. After you approve the design your board is made to order and posted out, and most businesses have it on the counter within about a week.
